Role Description

Paid On-The-Job Training to Achieve a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician!

Apprenticeship Careers Australia is currently looking for candidates who want to undertake an Electrical Apprenticeship.  Right now, we have Electrician Apprenticeships  available for candidates around the Eastern Creek, Rooty Hill area.

Key Duties/Responsibilities 

  • installing mounting systems, 
  • wiring, and cabling
  • Inverter and switchboard work for portion of the install
  • Fitting electrical components 
  • Wiring electrical panels 
  • Supporting and assisting tradesmen
  • Tool handling 
  • Solar Installations

 

Let’s talk about the role

During your apprenticeship, you will be supporting and assisting the tradesmen in day to day electrical work and receiving on-the-job training. You will also be undertaking formal studies to obtain upon the completion of the apprenticeship a Certificate III in Electrotechnology-Electrician (UEE 30820).

We are looking for the successful candidates to start ASAP!

Your typical day will start at 7am and finish around 3:15 with the opportunity for overtime available to the right candidates.

 

Ideal Candidate 

Apart from being mathematically minded owing to the knowledge based course and the work undertaken you will also be; 

  • Australian citizen/permanent resident 
  • Physically healthy 
  • Posses good  communication skills 
  • Reliable and punctual 
  • Attention to detail 
  • A team Player
  • Own transport preferred but not essential
