Care Support Officer - Aged Care Traineeship

Role Description:

A Care Support Officer is responsible for providing services and support to daily living of residents to optimise their independence, health, well-being and quality of life.

 Duties include:

• Assistance with personal care
• Domestic duties
• Assisting with participation in day-to-day leisure activities

• Must have a passion for helping other people
• Willingness to work under Work Health and Safety guidelines
• Have a professional attitude
• Warm, caring, and approachable outlook in delivering person-centered care 
• A commitment to learning and development
• Willing to undertake formal qualifications - Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) CHC33021

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be Australian or New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident or qualify under a Visa that allows you to both work and study in Australia. 
• Current NDIS check 
• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain
• Must be willing to undertake and work towards completing training in the relevant formal qualification - Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) CHC33021
