Disability Support Traineeships

No experience necessary, training will be provided!

Role Description:

A Disability Support Worker is responsible for providing flexible and responsive support which promotes choice, self-determination, and independence in a range of community and in-home settings.

Duties include:

• Assistance with personal care
• Domestic duties
• Catheter Care 
• Manual handling

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Driver’s License, own car and Comprehensive car insurance
• Must be COVID -19 vaccinated
• Current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain
• National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check or willing to obtain
• First Aid with CPR or willing to obtain
• Willing to undertake formal qualifications in the related discipline
